The Omiš Riviera extends for about 35 kilometres along the south coast of Split. It is a stretch of coastline of outstanding beauty with many beaches and bays, cliffs protecting the coast and clear and transparent waters all the way.

Although the old town of Omiš is very small compared to some other urban centers in Dalmatia, there are many traces of history, such as fortresses Fortica and Mirabela. You should definitely visit these two if you find yourself in this town.

Omiš is a seaside town in Croatia situated near Split, at the mouth of Cetina River - the last stretch before flowing into the sea that cuts through the coastal mountains creating a deep gorge with steep rock walls up to a hundred meters. The stretch of sea off the port is called Channel of Brač, overlooking the homonymous island in front.
